The European styling of this 1998 Neptunus 60 Flybridge was far ahead of its time. Its sloped angles give it a sleek and stylish look while its heavy and extremely durable construction far exceed any European built Cruising yachts quality. Bow rails are constructed of heavy duty 1.5’’ thick high quality stainless steel. The deck cleats are large ship type stainless steel, five per side. Fiberglass construction is also far superior to any European built boat. Flybridge

A Nicely angled stairway with teak steps lead up to the fly bridge rather than a steep ladder. The fly bridge features a hardtop with enclosed lighting and a ventilation hatch in the hardtop. There is a 3 sided EZ2CY enclosure with fold up sides. The visibility from the pilot seat forward and to port and starboard is unobstructed. The helm is laid out nicely with easy viewing of all gauges and instruments. There are two helm chairs with foot rests. To the port of the helm is a bench seat and aft of that is a cabinet for storage with a small sink. Aft of the hardtop on the bridge is the radar arch with an open area to the sun with a semicircular seating area and a table for cocktails.

Aft Deck Area

The new Marquipt tide ladder leads to the Aft Deck . The spacious aft deck has a 1’’ thick teak deck, overhead ceiling with 3 enclosed lights and a 7 foot ceiling height, a nice seating area with storage beneath. There is a engine control and bow thruster station on the aft deck. A gated door to port leads to the swim platform and new Sea Lift hydraulic dinghy platform.

Salon

The main salon has large side windows which allows sun light to come in for breath taking view to be seen from within the salon. Additionally, the highly polished stainless steel door leading from the salon to the aft deck is a large two section door which also gives unobstructed view toward the stern of the boat. To port there is a semicircular seating area to seat up to 8 people and to starboard there are two bench type seats with a built in table between them which also has storage under the top of the table. Forward of this seating is a liquor locker. Cabinetry is high gloss Cherry wood with a thick Berber carpeting and overhead recessed lighting. There is 6′ 7” of headroom in the Salon.

Galley

Two steps up from the main salon is the galley with large windows forward and two large windows to the side. The U shaped counter to port has a Corian counter with a surface mounted cooktop. The refrigeration is under the counter style leaving the galley open so there are no obstructions between the galley and the salon or between the galley and the view to outside. To starboard in the galley is a nice U shaped seating area which will seat 6, with an extremely large fold out table for dining. Galley side windows open for ventilation. The galley has 6′ 9” of headroom.

Port Guest Staterooms

Steps lead forward and down to the staterooms, to port is a stateroom with a two berths, a nice size closet, and a small dresser. Forward of the port stateroom is a stackable washer/dryer.

Starboard Guest Stateroom

To Starboard is a Queen bed stateroom with a hanging locker, overhead lockers, full length mirror, and a dressing table. Forward of the starboard stateroom area is a nice size office area with a desk and four drawers for the ships books and manuals.

Master Stateroom

The master is forward with queen bed, mirrored headboard and storage drawers under the bed, two large closets, full length mirror, 12 door overhead storage, overhead recessed lighting, escape hatch overhead of the bed, dressing table, and four portholes for sunlight and ventilation. There is an in suite oversized head with large Corian countertop, under the counter storage, large stand up walk in shower, four door medicine cabinet storage. The master stateroom has 6’ 8’’ of headroom.

Engine Room

This yacht offers something no other European styled yacht of this class and style offers. A stand up walk in engine room with a 6 foot 2 inch high engine room ceiling, the engine room is also 9 feet long and 16 feet wide, with 27 inches between the engines and 22 inches of room outboard between the engines and the topsides which enables full access to the engines for service and also to all equipment.
Ample space between the engines and between the engines and the hullsides allows you to service anything with ease and room to move. This is a key feature of this yacht for easy service. The engine room houses the two main engines, two battery chargers, dripless packing on main engines, Mathers micro commander control boxes, Cruisair Chiller with its own Frequency drive to prevent voltage drops upon Chiller compressor start, New air cond circulation pump, Chiller loop pump, oil change system, port and starboard cameras, oversized ventilation fans.

Lazarette

A hydraulic driven hatch leads you to a very open & spacious lazarette storage area which measures nine feet long by 16 feet wide with a height of 5 feet. This area houses the Westerbeke generator in a sound shield, a deep freeze, a village marine water maker, incoming power isolation transformer, engines muffler, fuel tanks, cablemaster and cable bin, and Racor fuel filters. All equipment in this area is easily accessible and with all this equipment there is still a huge amount of area for storage of spare parts, provisions, fenders, or any equipment one might desire to add.
